Adrian has 45 years of professional experience, which includes 35 years in the consulting sector. He has led development of innovative strategic business risk assessment methodology which he has applied in the Asia-Pacific region, Africa, South America, Canada, the United States and Europe. Since 1992 Adrian used his multi-disciplinary experience as a hydrogeologist, together with a high degree of innovation to develop a client-focused risk and opportunity management service. He has managed or directed numerous key projects. Adrian is senior author of Bowden, A.R., Lane, M.R., and Martin, J.H., 2001, Triple Bottom Line Risk Management, Enhancing Profit, Environmental Performance, and Community Benefit, John Wiley and Sons, New York.
Areas of expertise include strategic planning (corporate and projects), enterprise-wide risk assessment, acquisitions risk analysis, project risk/opportunity assessment, CO2 storage risk assessment, specialist risk assessment, financial assurances for mines and waste facilities, probabilistic cost estimation and modelling, risk assessment tool development, mine closure risk management and asset management.
Adrian has spent a large part of his career developing and applying strategic risk management methodologies for organisations. Thinking about the future and developing strategies to take organisations into the future is a fundamental aspect of risk management. In that context, he has been doing futurist type work for a long time, and has found a “home” within the futurist community. He is working within the futures network to create new opportunities based on his risk management experience.

Meredith combines her formal education and experience in Strategic Foresight and Psychology to offer a unique perspective and approach to complex challenges – at the individual, group, organisational and societal levels.
With over 20 years of professional experience, she has had many roles including strategy developer, psychologist, team leader, coach, facilitator and consultant.
Meredith holds qualifications in Strategic Foresight (Masters), Psychology (Honours) and Early Childhood Education (Graduate Diploma). She has contributed articles to the Knowledge Base of Futures Studies 2020, the flagship strategic foresight journal, Futures, 2021, and the magazine for the Association of Professional Futurists, Compass, 2024.

Dave has been helping organisations and communities to engage with complex challenges for over 20 years. He has worked for a wide range of public and community sector organisations in Australia and the United Kingdom as a manager, leader, partnership facilitator, strategist and policy adviser.
He holds a Masters of Strategic Foresight, a Masters of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Politics.
Dave is driven to help people to have better conversations, engage effectively with complexity, and take strategic action to create better futures. His approach is collaborative, developmental and tailored to the unique needs of each organisation and community he works with.
